Ronald Forbes
Solicitor
Ronald Forbes grew up in Aberdeen, where he attended school and university before graduating in 1980.
Since then, Ronald has built up considerable experience in the legal profession. He has worked in Stonehaven since 1985 and moved to the town shortly afterwards, becoming firmly settled in the local community.
Ronald advises clients on property matters, Wills, Powers of Attorney and estate administration. He understands that legal matters can feel daunting, especially if you’re dealing with them for the first time and aims to give clear, practical advice in a way that is easy to understand.

Jillian Lawson
Legal Secretary
Jillian Lawson grew up in Stonehaven and has worked in legal offices for around 40 years.
Over that time, she has built up solid experience across a range of legal disciplines and understands how important it is for clients to feel informed and supported.
As legal secretary, Jillian helps with the smooth running of the office. She supports clients with appointments, paperwork and day-to-day communication, helping to keep matters organised from start to finish.

Lisa Macaulay
Property Consultant
Lisa Macaulay is responsible for property matters at Smith Solicitors.
Lisa has a great deal of property experience and has previously worked with other legal firms, giving her a strong understanding of the property process from both a legal and practical point of view.
She helps with properties for sale and rent, including viewings, property information and enquiries from buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants. Lisa’s often a key contact for clients and prospective buyers or tenants during the property process.
